The new Motorola HT820 headphones were launched over the summer and have been very popular amongst the iPhone community. They work great with many different cell phones and they work great with the iPhone 3.0 functionality as well. It’s also speculated that these will be able to work with next generation iPhone’s as well, although only time will tell.
Form Fitting
The HT820 are a Bluetooth headphone that fits comfortable over your ears and your head without any discomfort. The headphones are very well padded which provides excellent sound and outside noise is blocked out pretty well. You also receive a carrying pouch, Bluetooth drivers for your PC, Bluetooth receiver in case you don’t have one and a headphone extension cable as well as an additional 3.5mm jack for another pair of headphones - pretty cool!
Controls
The “M” logo blinks blue when the headset is on, much like all other Bluetooth’s. The left earpiece is used for making calls and controls your volume while the right earpiece is used for music, skipping tracks and charging through a USB port.
Functionality
The Motorola HT820 is loaded with functionality. 500 hours of standby time, 17 hours of talk time and 15 hours of music. The sound quality is great and you can easily get through a few days of use without a problem. Not to mention, they sound a lot better than the headphones that come with the iPhone.
Our Conclusion
The sound quality is well worth it and the price is unbeatable for the value. I love the fact that it has talking capability as well as music playability. They are a little on the heavy side but nothing to be worried about.
